Information we collect When you request or manage a stay, we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, stay dates, number of guests and message. We also keep booking, payment and refund status, communications, and limited technical or security information needed to protect the booking service. Stripe processes card details; we do not store full card details on this website. How and why we use it We use this information to answer enquiries, review and administer booking requests, take payment, provide stay information, prevent misuse, keep accounting records and comply with legal duties. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request and performing the booking contract, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the accommodation service. Who receives it We use service providers including Cloudflare for hosting and security, Stripe for payments, and Resend for transactional email. They process information under their own contractual and security arrangements. We may also disclose information when required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where a provider processes information outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards supplied by that provider under applicable data-protection law. How long we keep it Unsuccessful enquiries and declined requests are normally kept for up to 12 months. Booking, payment, refund and accounting records may be kept for up to six years after the stay, or longer if required for an active legal dispute or legal obligation. Short-lived security and rate-limit records are removed when no longer needed. Your rights Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or transfer of your personal information, and you may object to certain uses. We do not use your booking information for unrelated marketing or make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Website technology The site uses essential security and booking technology. It does not currently use advertising or non-essential analytics cookies. Payment pages are provided by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's privacy information.
